![]() I took a good amount of pictures, but we didn't make it downstairs because someone was ready for a nap. They give them a little prize when they leave (tiny plastic frog and beaded necklaces was what they had when we went). The give the kids a little scavenger hunt for their time in the museum. I'll have to bring my husband back soon, he was working, I know he will love it. ![]() So glad we did, my little one had a great time. We came on a Monday because Discovery Museum is closed Mondays during the school year and these two museum's aren't to far apart. $70/year for 2 adults and all the kids in your household (I believe not sure the age cap since we just have a 2 year old). We had a great time! Very reasonably priced as well. We can't say we experienced any connection to any objects in the museum, but it definitely left an impression on us and we're likely to go back in the future. We totally understood but it was still a bit of a bummer and not enough to leave a bad review. ![]() We definitely missed a handful of things we wanted to read or look at, but by the time it was our turn it was time to shuffle off to the next thing to keep the tour flowing. The one negative is there's so much content, so much stuff to read, displays and signage, that it's nearly impossible to take it all in with the amount of time you spend at each place. Also, you’re not obligated to do anything, if there’s content you don’t want to see, you’re given the option to not go in the room. There's some rooms that have video or audio by Zak upon entry and they further explain what you're about to see if the tour guide is not in there with you. Standing in the presence of storied objects and vehicles is so incredible and some are heartbreaking. Some of the rooms were absolutely breathtaking, objects of incredible significance and history right at your fingertips (but NO touching) is unreal. ![]() The lanyard in the beginning and free shirt you receive at the end are awesome perks that make for great souvenirs. The RIP tour was absolutely worth the extra money, getting to see six extra rooms and have a little different experience than the GA ticket was really cool. It would absolutely wreck the experience and take away any mystery. The no photos except for outside and the “box office” where they check your reservation and issue RIP passes & GA tickets is great. It's hard to write a review and not give things away, I don't want to diminish the experience for anyone else. We had the best time here! As avid fans of the show it was so cool to see objects we've heard so much about, as well as so many others we didn't know were contained within.
